Open Door Legal in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Civil Litigation Attorney to lead our Civil Litigation Team and advance universal access to civil legal aid. You will supervise staff attorneys, develop systems, and collaborate with partners to deliver high-quality advocacy for low-income clients.

The role requires California bar membership, at least six years of experience, and a commitment to trauma-informed, culturallySensitive service. Starting compensation is $89,500–$111,500 annually.

Formación

• California State Bar in good standing.
• Minimum six (6) years of legal experience.
• Minimum two (2) years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience supervising staff attorneys.
• Knowledge of California civil procedure.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Civil Litigation Team and ensure high client satisfaction.
• Oversee legal advice and representation provided by the team.
• Hire, train, mentor staff, interns, fellows, and volunteers.
• Develop and maintain public relations with government agencies, decision-makers, other legal aid organizations, and the community.
• Drive knowledge management, uniform systems, checklists, and templates to increase capacity.
• Ensure trauma-informed advocacy and sensitivity to client needs.
• Embody values of teamwork, grit, care, passion, and dynamism.
