Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school; active North Carolina license.
• Minimum of five (5) years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience handling matters through all phases of litigation: evaluation, discovery, depositions, motions, mediation/arbitration, trial.
• Trial and arbitration experience with ability to independently manage complex matters.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a civil litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Develop and implement case strategies tailored to client objectives.
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, experts, and representatives.
• Draft and argue motions, briefs, and other substantive filings.
• Represent clients at mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.
• Communicate with clients on case developments and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with other practice groups on complex matters.
• Mentor junior attorneys and support practice growth.
