Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Civil/Highway Program Manager for its Boston, MA office. The candidate must have a BS/MS degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering and 20+ years of highway and street design experience on MassDOT, MBTA, Massport and municipal projects or similar public agency/municipal projects.

The role involves producing design plans, project specifications and report preparation, with excellent communication in a team setting. The position requires MA P.E.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of transportation/highway/street design experience.
• BS or MS in Civil Engineering with emphasis on highway/roadway design.
• MA Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• Experience with civil engineering principles for highway/roadway design, drainage and utilities.
• Familiarity with MassDOT/MBTA/Massport standards is a plus.
• Proficient in producing technical drawings and resolving document discrepancies.
• Ability to drive with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review highway/street design plans, estimates, specs, and details.
• Develop conceptual and final project documents including alignments and grading.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and staff.
• Perform the duties of a Senior Project Manager.
• Supervise staff as assigned.
