Job summary

Crescent Communities in Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA seeks an Estimator to provide comprehensive quantity takeoffs for civil site work and utilities pricing for our Harmon single-family build‑to‑rent and Novel Multifamily platforms.

The role requires 4-5 years of estimating experience, proficiency with Agtek and On‑screen Takeoff, and strong communication; travel to field locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 4-5 years’ experience in construction site work estimating.
• Familiarity with earthwork and utility pricing and takeoff software.
• Strong written and oral communication; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide quantity takeoffs for civil/sitework and utilities pricing.
• Review plans and geotechnical reports to mitigate site risks.
• Ensure site price coverage with subcontractors and vendors.
• Coordinate with Pre-Construction team and engineers on pricing.
• Participate in design reviews and bid leveling activities.
