Qualifications

• 5+ years as a civil estimator with project experience.
• Proven track record across civil projects (excavation, paving, grading).
• Proficient in Excel and estimating tools (Bluebeam, HeavyBid, AGTEK).
• Strong communication, business development and negotiation skills.
• Must bid accurately and submit complete bids on time.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings, specs to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Lead bid processes for public and private sector projects.
• Identify labor, materials and time requirements from plans.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Prepare bid packages and present estimates to management.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
• Provide value engineering recommendations.
• Maintain cost data and develop estimating templates.
• Mentor junior estimators and improve processes.
