Job summary

SIVAD Consulting in Sarasota, FL seeks a Civil/Environmental Engineer (PE) with 6+ years to work directly with the President, supporting technical and client growth initiatives.

The role involves engineering design, project management, and business development, with opportunities to advance to Technical Lead or Manager as you grow. A Florida PE is required or can be obtained within 4 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• Strong communication and project management experience.
• Proficiency with Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Ability to oversee staff including engineers and CADD designers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or oversee engineering calculations, AutoCAD 3D designs, assessments, studies, master plans, models, construction drawings, specs, permit applications, and reports.
• Serve as Project Manager or Technical Lead depending on scale/complexity.
• Lead pilot studies, reports, GIS/CADD/modeling efforts, CEI services, and stakeholder outreach.
• Support business development, proposals, presentations, project schedules, budgets, and cost evaluations.
• Research innovative technologies, regulations, and methods.
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, vendors, and internal team.
• Occasional travel within SW to West Central Florida for site visits, pilots, and client meetings.
