Job summary

Bluedot is seeking a Senior Civil Engineering Technician - Power Generation to lead civil design and drawing production for power-generation projects. This on-site role requires 11+ years of experience and an associate degree in drafting or design technology.

Candidates must live within 50 miles of Overland Park, KS, Ann Arbor, MI, Houston, TX or Cary, NC. The assignment is ~six months at 40 hours per week with contract-to-hire potential; background check and drug screen are required.

Senior Civil Engineering Technician - Power Generation

Lead civil design and drawing production for power-generation projects. Coordinate site development, grading, drainage, material quantities and technical reviews; mentor junior team members.

Requirements: 11+ years of relevant experience; associate degree in drafting or design technology; Civil 3D, MicroStation and OpenPlant; technical leadership. Power-generation experience and a bachelor's degree are preferred.

On-site. Candidates must be local, within 50 miles of one eligible office: Overland Park, KS; Ann Arbor, MI; Houston, TX; Cary, NC.

Approximately six months, 40 hours/week. Contract-to-hire opportunity; conversion is not guaranteed.

One opening. Employment through an employer of record. A background check and drug screen are required before starting, consistent with applicable law. Start date and final assignment terms will be confirmed during recruitment.
