SuperbTech, Inc. in California seeks an experienced Senior Civil Engineer (PE) to lead design and delivery of water infrastructure projects.

You will supervise engineering staff and oversee construction drawings, specifications, reports, bid packages, and permitting activities for critical water system improvements. Qualifications

Active California PE license or EIT.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years civil engineering experience with significant water utility design experience.
Must have experience working for a Water Utility or Land Development Company.
Water transmission and distribution systems experience.
Wells, booster stations, and water treatment facilities exposure.
Experience supervising engineering or design teams.
Strong project management experience from planning through construction.
Experience coordinating permitting with municipalities and regulatory agencies.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic and hydrologic analysis.
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, design, and execution of water infrastructure projects (reservoirs, booster stations, wells, pipelines, treatment facilities).
Supervise, mentor, and assign work to engineering/design staff.
Prepare and review detailed construction drawings for water mains, services, hydrants, and related infrastructure.
Perform plan checks and quality reviews of complex designs.
Oversee construction bid packages, specifications, and technical documentation.
Prepare hydraulic, hydrology, and LID reports.
Prepare retaining wall calculations and structural reports.
Coordinate permitting with local agencies and regulatory authorities.
Manage engineering consultants, review deliverables, and approve progress payments.
Attend meetings with consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
Develop weekly workloads, establish priorities, and prepare monthly reports.
Ensure plans comply with codes, standards, and project specs.
Maintain as-built drawings and GIS records for projects.
Conduct field inspections to verify construction quality.
Analyze complex engineering issues and develop practical solutions.
Manage multiple capital projects within schedule and budget.
