The ideal candidate holds a PE license in Civil Engineering (CA) and a B.S. in Civil Engineering, with 8+ years of experience in civil/site design and proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and Adobe

Qualifications

• 8 years of full-time civil engineering design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Professional Engineer license in Civil Engineering issued by California.
• Experience with AutoCAD and civil/site development design.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Adobe software.

Responsibilities

• Support development and review of project scope, schedules, and technical documents.
• Perform complex civil engineering work for planning, design, and construction of facilities and site improvements.
• Apply civil engineering principles throughout project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance on site development, grading, paving, utilities, and ADA improvements.
• Prepare and review scope documents, surveys, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate civil engineering, land surveying, and related services.
• Review plans for compliance with codes and design guidelines.
• Identify conflicts between disciplines and coordinate revisions.
• Develop and maintain civil engineering standards and specifications.
• Support feasibility studies and cost estimates for grading and street improvements.
• Provide technical support during construction and coordinate permits with jurisdictions.
• Review documentation for off-site improvements and easements.
