Job summary

Pennoni seeks a Senior Civil Engineer who can also serve as Project Manager for a full-time, direct role at our Milton, DE office. The role involves leading design and infrastructure projects across commercial and residential developments, with emphasis on coordination among clients, contractors, and authorities.

Requirements include a civil engineering degree, a DE PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months), and 8+ years of professional experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Civil preferred).
• DE PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months of start date.
• 8+ years of professional engineering experience, preferably with design projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Provide civil engineering design services including site planning, infrastructure, and stormwater management.
• Lead diverse projects: commercial and residential (single & multi-family).
• Oversee paving, drainage, grading, water & wastewater work.
• Mentor other engineers and coordinate with clients and meetings.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and government agencies; manage teams and communications.
• Contribute to project scope, plans, timelines, and budgets; ensure regulatory compliance.
