Job summary

Pennoni seeks a Senior Civil Engineer who can also serve as Project Manager at our Milton, Delaware office. You will lead civil design, prepare drawings and specs, and coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree, DE PE (or able to obtain within 6 months), and 8+ years of experience on commercial, retail, or residential land development. Strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license in DE or able to obtain within 6 months of start date.
• 8+ years of professional engineering experience, preferably on design projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Provide civil engineering design services: site planning, infrastructure and stormwater management.
• Manage diverse project types: commercial and residential (Single & Multi-Family).
• Coordinate with clients and internal/external teams; represent the company professionally.
• Lead and mentor engineers; contribute to marketing, planning, and project scoping.
• Define project scope, develop plans, and manage timelines and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, permits, and local requirements.
