Job Details

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. This is a remote position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of innovative and challenging projects from the comfort of your own home. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, planning, and overseeing civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a variety of civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Prepare, review, and approve technical documents, including design plans, specifications, and feasibility studies.
  • Utilize advanced software applications such as Civil3D, MicroStation, and AutoCAD to create detailed engineering designs and plans.
  • Collaborate with various teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Oversee project cost estimates and schedules, and monitor project progress to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
  • Ensure all designs and projects comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
  • New York State Professional Engineer (NYS PE) or EIT
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on design, project management, and construction oversight.
  • Expertise in using engineering software such as Civil3D, MicroStation, and AutoCAD is essential.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and methods.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
