Job summary

Planate Management Group is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support U.S. Navy facilities and infrastructure projects based at the Government facilities onboard NSA Naples, Italy.

You will provide structural engineering expertise throughout planning, design, and construction phases, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, code-compliant, and high-quality facility solutions. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering/Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum 5 years of professional structural civil engineering experience in code-compliant facilities design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Civil Engineering - Structural is desirable.
• Must have a valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional civil engineering support for planning, design, construction, maintenance, renovation, and related Navy, Marine Corps projects.
• Perform civil and structural analysis and design for environmental and blast loads, foundations, and steel/concrete structures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, code-compliant project delivery.
• Apply civil engineering principles and standards throughout planning, design, construction, and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with DoD, Navy, IBC, ASCE 7, and other codes and regulations.
• Prepare analyses, reports, and recommendations to support decision-making and budgeting.
