Job summary

Planate Management Group seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to support U.S. Navy facilities and infrastructure at NSA Naples, Italy.

You will provide structural engineering guidance through planning, design, and construction, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, code‑compliant facilities. This full‑time position involves analysis of environmental and blast loads, coordination with DoD and Navy standards, and preparation of technical reports to support project decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering/Structural from ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum 5 years of professional structural civil engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Civil Engineering - Structural is desirable.
• Must have a valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional civil engineering support for planning, design, construction, maintenance, renovation, demolition, space utilization, and facilities development of Navy, Marine Corps, and other projects.
• Perform civil and structural analysis and design for environmental and blast loads, structural systems, foundations, retaining structures, and utility supports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, code-compliant project delivery.
• Apply civil engineering principles and industry standards throughout all project phases.
• Ensure compliance with DoD, Navy, IBC, ASCE 7, and other codes and regulations.
• Prepare technical analyses, reports, and engineering recommendations to support planning and decision-making.
• Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and safety policy adherence.
