Job summary

OWN, Inc. is seeking a licensed Senior Civil Engineer specializing in municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure. You will lead complex utility projects from preliminary planning through construction administration.

A primary responsibility is guiding municipal clients through the capital funding landscape—drafting PERs, securing SRF/USDA/CDBG funding, and maintaining relationships with state and federal agencies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
Experience designing wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal systems.
Technical background in wastewater treatment facilities and products.
Experience with AutoCAD or related software.
Active PE license.
5+ years of wastewater engineering and design experience.

Responsibilities

Lead design and engineering for municipal water distribution, wastewater, and related utilities.
Guide projects from preliminary planning through construction administration.
Prepare and submit funding applications (grants/loans) for municipal projects.
Coordinate with funding agencies and municipal clients; manage stakeholder relationships.
Mentor junior engineers and oversee field construction activities.
