Senior Civil Engineer - Multidisciplinary

Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is hiring a Senior Civil Engineer to lead a multidisciplinary team in providing planning, design, and technical assistance across water and transportation projects. The hybrid position is based in Hernando, MS, Oxford, MS, or Memphis, TN.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include:

• Perform engineering analysis and design (2D and 3D) for projects such as roadways, intersections, water distribution, sanitary sewer systems, hydraulic modeling, pump station analysis, and water/wastewater treatment.
• Lead a team of junior engineers.
• Prepare construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Assess existing systems and develop remedial measures.
• Conduct construction phase engineering and site reviews.
• Maintain communication with clients throughout projects.
• Review project status and ensure timely completion.
• Prepare engineering studies and reports.
• Provide technical guidance and training.
• Ensure design quality and adherence to codes.

What You'll Need:

• PE licensure or ability to obtain in relevant states within 90 days.
• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Relevant certifications.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations related to engineering and public works.
• Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Geopak, Open Roads, and other DOT-approved software.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
