Job summary

Pennoni is seeking an experienced Project Civil/Site Engineer to join our Princeton, NJ team on a full-time basis. You will contribute to land development projects, NJDEP land use permitting, and field oversight from our Princeton office.

Responsibilities include leading design teams, managing wetland delineations, and filing environmental permits while coordinating with regulators and local officials. A NJ PE license and 8–18 years of NJ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8–18 years of professional experience on land development projects in NJ with NJDEP land use permitting.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site plan and subdivision designs with a team of engineers and designers.
• Lead team of wetland delineators for mapping and reporting.
• Lead team preparing and filing environmental permit applications and provide regulatory support for land development and infrastructure projects.
• Conduct field inspections and provide project oversight.
• Communicate with regulatory agencies and local government officials as needed.
• Oversee stormwater management design and permitting.
