Job summary

Cannon Corp. is seeking a Civil Senior Principal Engineer for our Riverside, CA office. The role supervises engineers and designers, manages projects, budgets, and staff, and prepares reports and plans for land development.

You will mentor a team, drive client relations, and contribute to business development. The ideal candidate holds a CA P.E. license, 10+ years of civil land development experience, and a proven leadership track record.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering.
• Requires 10+ years of experience in civil engineering for land development.
• 5+ years supervisory experience with project management and mentoring.
• California P.E. license is required.
• Experience in interacting with jurisdictional agencies a plus.
• Strong leadership, client management, and business development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversees multiple civil land development projects concurrently.
• Leads client relations, proposals, and budget development.
• Mentors and directs design staff and engineers.
• Designs plans for grading, drainage, utilities, and streets; supports construction.
• Ensures QA/QC and on-time, within-budget project delivery.
• Coordinates with agencies to obtain approvals; drives business development.
