Job summary

Metric Geo seeks a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 6+ years of land development experience to lead residential and commercial site development projects from concept through construction. This role blends technical leadership, project management, client engagement, and team mentorship.

Responsibilities include leading projects through all design/construction phases, managing scope, schedules, and budgets, and coordinating with clients, municipalities, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Active P.E. license.
• 6+ years of civil engineering experience in land development.
• Experience with project management and client coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and hydrology/stormwater modeling software.
• Strong knowledge of site development, utilities, grading, drainage, and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Lead land development projects through all phases of design and construction.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Design and review grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater, and site development plans.
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, contractors, and internal teams.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, construction documents, and permit packages.
• Mentor junior engineers and support quality assurance.
• Build strong client relationships and support business development.
