A leading company in California is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for land development projects. The role involves managing multiple projects, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience and a California PE license.

JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Engineer is responsible for the review, management, and coordination of professional engineering work related to land development and various public works projects. The Senior Engineer reviews and manages multiple land development projects simultaneously, supervises staff, coordinates project development and progress with clients, and provides technical support for internal and external stakeholders.
Exercises independent engineering judgment, seals and signs review comments and technical memorandums when necessary, reviews the work of Associate and Assistant Engineers, and provides training and mentoring as necessary.
The Senior Engineer has the technical expertise and ability to function as a sole or primary project manager representing City staff for private development projects, and when necessary, make engineering decisions and act on behalf of City staff.
