Job summary

EXP seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Guam team, focusing on residential, federal, and commercial projects. You will lead civil design, site development, and project management, working with a diverse team in a U.S.

territory relocation support provided. Applicants should hold a BS in Civil Engineering, PE (or eligible), and 8+ years of design and construction management experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related hydrology tools.

Qualifications

BS degree in Civil Engineering.
PE Certification (or ability to acquire PE).
8+ years of relevant design and construction management experience.
Federal Project experience is a plus.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
High level of proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

Ensures construction adheres to construction specifications.
Perform civil design, site development engineering and project management for residential, federal and commercial projects.
Experience with site civil design, permitting, and software including hydrology modeling, storm drainage, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
Coordinate, manage costs, permitting for land disturbance, and prepare bid packages and specs.
Read and interpret construction documents; advise on methods and equipment.
Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site activities and staff directions.
Ensure project staff and subcontractors follow safety, quality, and environmental controls.
Guide bidders to site locations and answer Scope of Work questions.
