SMEUSA is seeking a Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer to lead project management and provide technical support within the Steel, Coatings, and Nondestructive Testing (SCN) group.

This role involves managing QA review projects for steel and concrete fabrication across Michigan. Ideal candidates will hold a PE license and have experience in QA testing and project management.

Qualifications

• Experience with fabrication review and quality assurance is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage fabrication QA review projects for Local Agency clients.
• Prepare scopes and quotes for fabrication review work.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and fabricators.
