Job summary

Apogee Engineering seeks a senior Civil Engineer to provide high-level civil engineering support for facility architecture and engineering projects, including site, structural, and infrastructure designs for NASIC facilities.

The role requires US citizenship and TS/SCI clearance with a Professional Engineer license in civil engineering, plus a minimum of ten years in the field and a Master’s degree. On-site duties at Wright Patterson AFB, OH, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in civil engineering or closely related functional area.
• Master’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in facility and infrastructure civil engineering in DoD or similar environments.
• Citizenship: US citizen; Clearance: TS/SCI; Certifications: PE license in civil engineering or closely related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design civil infrastructure for facilities, including site layouts, grading, drainage, and utilities.
• Perform structural assessments and support design of foundations and structural elements.
• Conduct trade studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for civil engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines to ensure integrated facility designs.
• Prepare civil engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Support construction oversight and technical review activities.
