Job summary

Apogee Engineering is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to provide senior-level support for facility architecture and engineering projects at NASIC facilities, including site, structural, and infrastructure designs that support DoD facilities.

The role requires US citizenship with TS/SCI clearance, a PE license in civil engineering, and a Master’s degree, with a minimum of ten years of civil experience and extensive DoD-style facility experience.

• Conduct trade studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines for integrated designs
• Prepare civil drawings, specifications, and technical reports
• Support construction oversight and technical reviews

Responsibilities

• Plan and design civil infrastructure for facilities, including site layouts, grading, drainage, and utilities.
• Perform structural assessments and support design of foundations and structural elements as required.
• Conduct trade studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for civil engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines to ensure integrated facility designs.
• Prepare civil engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Support construction oversight and technical review activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience:
• Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: TS/SCI Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license required in civil engineering or closely related discipline.
• Education / Years of Experience:
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in civil engineering or closely related functional area.
• Master's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in facility and infrastructure civil engineering in DoD or similar environments.
