Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in engineering or related field.
• For GS-07: one year of graduate-level education in engineering, physics, chemistry, architecture, mathematics, hydrology, or geology.
• For GS-09: master's degree or 2 years of progressively higher level graduate education in relevant field.
• Foreign education must be evaluated for equivalence to US education.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior engineer and technical authority in civil engineering discipline.
• Provide consultation to depot management officials and engineering/production units.
• Contribute to planning and execution of overhaul, repair, and modernization programs.
