Stantec is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to support land development and municipal infrastructure projects, based in Utah. You will lead technical design, scope, schedule, and budgeting while guiding junior staff and coordinating with multiple teams.

The role emphasizes strong problem solving, civil systems expertise, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and hydraulic modeling, with responsibilities spanning from early feasibility to field observation and project closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in civil/site development.
• Registered or eligible to be licensed as a Professional Engineer in Idaho.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Prepare grading, drainage, and utility design documents.
• Model hydrology and hydraulics for stormwater networks.
• Lead teams delivering design drawings and site development work.
• Perform field observations and constructability reviews.
• Prepare cost estimates and participate in RFI responses.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards.
