Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for our Oklahoma City and Tulsa sites to lead civil design efforts within the site/civil group. You will guide design concepts, prepare pricing and documents, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Civil Engineering, 10+ years of civil design, a current PE license, and proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D. Competitive benefits and rapid career growth are offered.

Responsibilities

• Lead project strategy meetings within discipline, develop design concepts, prepare pricing and proposal documents, and outline specs.
• Ensure design compliance with applicable codes and standards across the project.
• Identify design basis for hydrology, hydraulics, site utilities, erosion/sediment control.
• Create stormwater, water demand and wastewater calculation reports.
• Advise Construction PMs and Subcontractors on construction documents.
• Direct technical staff and promote mentoring within the team.
• Foster an environment that enables staff to excel and grow.

Haskell is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer in Oklahoma City and Tulsa to work with our site/civil group.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leads project strategy meetings within discipline, develops design concepts and recommends systems, produces pricing and proposal presentation documents, and outlines specifications
• Researches, documents and is responsible for discipline design compliance with all applicable codes, ordinances, standards, and regulations
• Identifies the basis of design for hydrology, hydraulics, site utilities, and erosion sediment control design approach
• Able to create clear, complete, and concise stormwater, water demand, and wastewater calculation reports
• Advises and assists Construction Project Managers, Superintendents, and Subcontractors in the interpretation and clarification of construction documents and responds to requests for information
• Directs technical efforts of engineers, designers, technicians, and/or interns assigned to the project
• Administer an environment for staff to excel, while coaching them to advance their careers
