Job summary

Haskell is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer in Oklahoma City and Tulsa to lead design efforts for civil projects. You will produce innovative, cost-effective designs and sign/seal documents under supervision while maintaining professional registration.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with PMs and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with codes and standards across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• 10+ years of civil design experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (Active).
• Autodesk Civil 3D (current version) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead project strategy meetings within discipline, develop design concepts and outline specifications.
• Ensure design compliance with applicable codes, ordinances, standards, and regulations.
• Identify the basis of design for hydrology, hydraulics, site utilities, and erosion sediment control.
• Create stormwater, water demand, and wastewater calculation reports.
• Advise and assist Construction PMs, Superintendents, and Subcontractors on construction documents.
• Direct technical efforts of engineers, designers, technicians, and interns on the project.
• Coach staff to excel and advance their careers.

Haskell is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer in Oklahoma City and Tulsa

In this role, you will be responsible for the production of innovative, appropriate, cost-effective designs, drawings, and specifications in your discipline for assigned projects. You will maintain professional registration and sign/seal documents prepared under your supervision.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leads project strategy meetings within discipline, develops design concepts and recommends systems, produces pricing and proposal presentation documents, and outlines specifications
• Researches, documents and is responsible for discipline design compliance with all applicable codes, ordinances, standards, and regulations
• Identifies the basis of design for hydrology, hydraulics, site utilities, and erosion sediment control design approach
• Able to create clear, complete, and concise stormwater, water demand, and wastewater calculation reports
• Advises and assists Construction Project Managers, Superintendents, and Subcontractors in the interpretation and clarification of construction documents and responds to requests for information
• Directs technical efforts of engineers, designers, technicians, and/or interns assigned to the project
• Administer an environment for staff to excel, while coaching them to advance their careers
