IMEG is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for our Southern California Civil team. The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for providing leadership, mentoring, and training for less experienced staff, which could be in technical, project management, marketing, or business development areas.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

• Complete design by discipline for projects of all sizes
• Make major design recommendations and decisions with minimal input from senior staff
• Plan design work by discipline for all project sizes and assign duties to staff
• Review correspondence prepared by junior staff
• Participate actively in quality control of projects

Technical Path:

• Contribute to leadership in our Technical Operations Team for various projects
• Analyze technical problems, write reports, and act as an advisor
• Conduct project reviews for quality control on large, complex projects
• Provide technical assistance on field issues, including site visits to resolve technical problems independently

OR

Project Management Path:

• Serve effectively as Project Manager on large or multiple smaller projects
• Identify prospective clients, assist in marketing, and prepare proposals
• Bring work into the firm through existing or new clients and participate in client presentations

Required skills and abilities:

• Must meet all duties of Civil Project Engineer 2 and demonstrate leadership traits in either path
• Mastery of technical aspects of civil engineering
• Mentoring, motivating, and leading others
• Perform final quality control checks
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Education and experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer license
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• This position is not eligible for sponsorship

Salary Range: $90,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location, experience, and other factors. Benefits include bonuses, stock options, health insurance, wellness programs, life and disability insurance, retirement plans, paid holidays, and PTO.
