Job summary

Staffing Solutions Enterprises is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead complex infrastructure and land development projects in the Cleveland area. You will head multidisciplinary teams through site development, land planning, and utility design, delivering innovative solutions for industrial clients and utilities.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, is certified (EIT) with PE preferred, has 10+ years of hands-on experience, and excels at mentoring others, coordinating

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• EIT certification required; PE license preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in site development and utility design.
• Proven leadership experience with prior management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM collaboration tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and detail-oriented skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to coordinate across stakeholders including Owners, Contractors, and Agencies.

Responsibilities

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• EIT certification required; PE license preferred
• 10+ years of experience in site development and utility design
• Proven leadership skills with prior management experience preferred
• Expertise in all phases of engineering and construction
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM collaboration tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detailed orienting skills

• Experience designing rail access or yard track layouts

Preferred Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree a plus
• Active and current AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM software use
• Extensive background managing complex infrastructure projects

• Professional registration or licensing in relevant jurisdictions is advantageous
