Jobot, a boutique law firm, seeks an accomplished litigation attorney to manage a full caseload across Virginia, DC, and Maryland in civil, employment, and business matters. You will appear at hearings, depositions, and trials, drafting and arguing complex motions with precision.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience with substantial federal and state court practice.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active DC and Maryland Bar membership in good standing.
• Eligible to waive into the Virginia Bar.
• Courtroom experience including hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Strong legal writing skills.
• Preferred experience in employment, workplace investigations, business litigation, and/or labor law.

Responsibilities

• Own a full caseload of civil, business, employment, and related litigation across VA, DC, and MD courts.
• Appear independently at hearings, depositions, and trials—now, not someday.
• Draft and argue complex motions with precision and without error.
• Handle non-litigation employment matters: counseling, contract drafting/review, severance, non-competes, investigations.
• Build and maintain client relationships and contribute to business development.
