Job summary

North Wind Group is seeking a Senior Civil Designer in Birmingham, AL to collaborate with licensed engineers and produce construction documents for land development projects, including residential, educational, commercial and industrial sites.

The role leads project design activities, may supervise staff, and requires extensive experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and related design standards in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 10+ years of drafting and design experience.
• Proficiency in CAD operations and civil engineering design.
• Experience with Bluebeam and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide schematic design information including conceptual land development plans and project requirements.
• Coordinate project requirements with other design professionals and other design disciplines.
• Produce construction documents for land development projects.
• In role of project leader, coordinate staff activities to achieve project budget, schedule and quality.
