Job summary

The Middlesex Corporation, a national leader in heavy civil construction, seeks a Project Manager to oversee construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget while coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

You will work with the Project Engineer and Superintendent to develop schedules, review submittals, and manage cost control, change orders, and closeout documents.

Qualifications

• Budget management, scheduling, and cost control experience.
• Knowledge of all phases of civil construction.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Safety policies and procedures, and promote safety first.
• Review project features with the Estimating Department.
• Develop and maintain a project schedule with the appropriate attributes.
• Submit preliminary paperwork such as submittals and subcontractor approvals.
• Coordinate and direct all project activities to meet milestones.
• Prepare and review periodic estimates with the owner's representative.
• Attend final punch list inspection and closeout meetings.
• Maintain contact with the project Owner and Architect/Engineer for final payment.
