Job summary

Morgan Corp. in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Civil Construction Manager to lead large-scale heavy civil projects across the southeastern United States, including mass earthwork, underground utilities, and site development.

You will ensure safety, budget adherence, and on-time delivery while guiding field operations from initiation to completion. This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to coordinate owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in heavy civil construction with leadership roles.
• Proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
• Experience managing large field teams and coordinating multiple subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee field operations for large-scale heavy civil projects.
• Direct Senior Superintendents, Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnel.
• Manage safety, quality, schedule, cost control, and production.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, subcontractors, and materials to milestones.
• Represent the project with owners, engineers, inspectors, and suppliers.
• Review plans and contracts to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Set productivity goals and monitor performance to protect schedule and budget.
• Drive safety culture per policies and OSHA requirements.
• Identify and resolve field challenges in production and logistics.
• Participate in hiring and workforce development of field leadership.
• Support preconstruction input and constructability reviews.
• Travel to project sites across the southeastern US.
