HDR is hiring a Senior Construction Inspector to support transportation projects in Kentucky.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Conduct and document observations of construction progress for civil projects such as roads, bridges, water/wastewater facilities, pump stations, and pipelines.
2. Mentor junior field staff and provide supervision as needed.
3. Collaborate with other field representatives or Project Managers.
4. Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, identifying discrepancies or conflicts.
5. Serve as the most senior inspector on projects as needed.
6. Perform other duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical school or Associate's degree.
• Relevant Industry Certifications.
• Ability to interpret construction schedules.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Successful passing of drug screening prior to employment; subject to ongoing testing.
