Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental, Drafting, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer registration preferred but not required.
• Five years or more of relevant design experience for Design Engineer.
• Proficiency in CADD software, engineering analysis software, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review engineering drawings, studies, and reports in compliance with applicable standards.
• Perform CADD drafting.
• Prepare 3D models of site grading using Civil 3D.
• Independently prepare design documents and calculations.
• Prepare earthwork and other quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and subconsultants.
• Field work as team member for inspections, locate utilities, traffic counts, topo items, etc.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities.
