Job summary

Wallace Design Collective is seeking a Civil CAD Drafter to bridge engineering concepts and constructible plans for Commercial, Retail, Industrial, Healthcare, and Education projects. You will develop detailed site plans, grading designs, and utility layouts with Project Engineers.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (surfaces, pipe networks) is required. An Associate degree in CAD, Drafting, or Civil Engineering Technology is expected, with 0–10 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required (surfaces, pipe networks).
• Strong understanding of civil site development principles.

Responsibilities

• Plan Production: Prepare full sets of civil construction documents (Site Plans, Grading & Drainage, Utility Plans).
• Modeling: Create surfaces, alignments, profiles, and pipe networks using Civil 3D.
• Drafting Standards: Apply CAD standards for consistency and quality.
• Collaboration: Work with engineers to incorporate redline markups and jurisdictional feedback.
• Data Management: Integrate topographic surveys, GIS data, and architectural footprints.
