Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Civil CAD Designer to work with project managers on civil site, water resources, stream restoration, and solid waste construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

You will contribute to plan and profile development, grading, and stormwater planning. You will calculate earthwork, develop cross-sections, and ensure plans meet company standards while providing value-oriented design ideas and professional communication with

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant civil design experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience working with construction drawings.
• Ability to speak and write professionally.
• Familiarity with MicroStation/ORD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce civil site, water resources, stream restoration and solid waste construction documents.
• Create site plans, grading, drainage, utility, and erosion control plans.
• Assist in stream restoration designs including plan, profile and cross-sections.
• Calculate earthwork quantities and construction quantities for estimates.
• Review drawings to ensure compliance with company standards.
