Job summary

Jobot is seeking a detail-oriented Civil CAD Technician in Austin, Texas to draft detailed civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D. You will work from sketches and redlines to produce plans, profiles, and site documents in compliance with company standards.

You will collaborate with civil engineers and other disciplines on multi-discipline projects, interpret regulations, and prepare exhibits and reports through design phases to final delivery.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D for civil construction drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret civil plan drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail in drafting standards and conventions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Understand and apply civil plan concepts (model space/paper space, xrefs).
• Read and interpret engineering construction drawings accurately.
• Draft plans, profiles and site work documents from sketches and redlines.
• Coordinate with civil engineers and other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Create exhibits, drawing sets and quantity calculations through design phases.
