Job summary

Torocco & Associates, a growing land development engineering firm in Southwest Florida, seeks a Senior Civil CAD Designer to lead technical tasks in AutoCAD Civil 3D and support project delivery. You will develop construction documents, manage grading and drainage plans, and mentor junior designers while coordinating with engineers and clients to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

5–10 years of Civil CAD design experience.
Experience with land development projects.
Ability to interpret engineering plans and survey data.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective written and verbal communication.
Knowledge of local permitting requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare civil engineering plans and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Develop grading, drainage, stormwater, utility, and roadway plans.
Create and manage surfaces, profiles, alignments, corridors, and pipe networks.
Interpret survey data and existing conditions information.
Support engineers with site layout and design development.
Coordinate permit revisions and client comments.
Assist with project scheduling and deliverable management.
Mentor junior CAD technicians and designers.
