Hazen and Sawyer seeks a Senior Principal Designer skilled in AutoCAD Civil 3D for our Dallas or Fort Worth offices. The role focuses on water and sewer infrastructure plans, including Plan and Profile, Yard Piping, and sections, with expertise in Pipe Networks and data management.

Leadership of large projects, coordination with engineers, and QAQC of drawing standards are key responsibilities. Growth opportunities and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of technical school CAD design certificate with emphasis on Civil 3D preferred.
• 15+ years of CAD Design/Drafting experience.
• Experience in leading and coordinating drawing production for large sized projects.
• Experience in directing and mentoring less experienced designers.

Responsibilities

• Developing base drawings from surveys.
• Developing Plan and Profile plans, Yard Piping plans, Sections, and Detail drawings for conveyance infrastructure projects.
• Developing grading plans from surfaces and corridors.
• Developing and maintaining base utility drawings from Pipe Networks, Pressure Networks, Grading.
• Managing multiple projects and coordination with Project Managers and other discipline staff.
• Responsible for QAQC of drawing standards and ensure drawing compliance with CAD standards and SOPs.
