Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in urban planning, geography, architecture, or related field.
• Considerable municipal planning experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports the city's planning and community development efforts through comprehensive planning, zoning administration, development review, and policy development.
• Reviews development proposals and ensures compliance with City codes.
• Works with developers and the public; prepares recommendations for City leaders.
• Oversees the Planning Commission.
