Responsibilities

• Develop efficient research plans to determine proper course of action.
• Conduct case law research using databases like Westlaw.
• Present persuasive briefs and arguments with properly cited authorities.
• Respond to discovery within deadlines; defend City interests.
• Review evidence including body-worn camera footage and records.
• Advise City staff on settlement decisions and litigation risks.
• Mentor and train junior attorneys and staff.
