Job summary

SAIC seeks a System Administrator to support NIWC LANT CLOUD CITI, covering both physical and virtual data center environments and cloud integration. On-call rotation every 5th week for Citrix outages is required.

The role requires a Secret (or higher) clearance, experience with CVAD, Citrix NetScaler, Windows Server, Active Directory, and DISA STIGs, plus familiarity with ServiceNow and Jira. Work involves cross-functional collaboration and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 9+ years of demonstrated experience; 4 additional years in lieu of degree.
• Strong knowledge of CVAD, Citrix NetScaler, and Windows Server technologies.
• Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, and DNS management.
• Experience implementing DISA STIGs and DoD security standards compliance.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow and Jira for ITSM workflows.
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams using Agile processes.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and deploy Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) systems.
• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot CVAD components on Windows Server 2012–2022.
• Manage Citrix NetScalers (physical and virtual) for performance and availability.
• Enforce security by applying DISA STIGs, managing patches, and updating environments via WSUS, Group Policy, and PowerShell.
• Maintain, upgrade, and secure Windows servers per DoD and DISA standards.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and support customer applications.
• Collaborate with virtualization and storage teams to optimize systems.
• Document configurations and operations using SharePoint; track with ServiceNow/Jira.
• Provide technical consulting and recommend system enhancements with stakeholders.
• Apply Agile methods (Kanban, Sprints) and develop automation scripts in PowerShell.
