Job summary

Trace Systems Inc. in Radford, Virginia is seeking a Senior Citrix Administrator to support a mixed Windows 2019/2022 environment.

The project is currently in proposal stage, with duties spanning deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining Citrix-related services. The role requires a Secret clearance, US citizenship, Security+ certification, and 5+ years in Windows systems administration with Citrix expertise.

Qualifications

• Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Security+ certification.
• Experience in Computer Science or IT.
• CE Certification (MCSE, Server+, CCNA, RedHat, Palo, etc.) – can be waived for 30 days after project join date.
• Five or more years' experience as a Windows Systems Administrator or Engineer designing, installing, and maintaining Citrix XenApp, NetScaler Gateway, Citrix StoreFront, and Citrix Director.
• Three or more years’ experience in automating assigned tasks utilizing PowerShell.
• Three or more years’ installing, configuration, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex applications and websites IIS, Apache, etc.
• Three or more years’ experience working in an environment with complex networking solutions with senior level fundamental knowledge in networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP).

Responsibilities

• Work with the existing Windows team to manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot and support servers for a mixed customer environment.
• Plan, execute and implement new system HW and SW and create and maintain team technical instructions, operating procedures and policies as needed.
• Monitor and tune system performance, ongoing operation of the servers, harden the servers and report on the overall security and operational status.
• Recommend improvements to the enterprise and manage new SW/HW integrations when required while also providing utilization reports using existing tools to identify problems and corrective actions as needed.
• Provide support towards the lifecycle of a mixed environment of vendor equipment in the datacenter to include firmware version control and periodic preventive maintenance.
• Recommend, demonstrate, and implement technologies to help expand, upgrade, and increase efficiencies to the current environment.

Job Responsibilities

Trace Systems is seeking a Senior Citrix Administrator to support and maintain a mixed and growing environment of Windows 2019 and Windows 2022. The project associated with this position is currently in the proposal stage.

Minimum Qualifications

Desired Qualification

• Three or more years’ experience supporting Cybersecurity patch management and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), SRG, RMF, SCA-V, and Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA).


• Three or more years’ experience managing enterprise level Active Directory Structures.


• Three or more years’ experience creating and maintaining complex MS Group Policy implementations.


• Three or more years' experience creating, maintaining, following Standard Operating Procedures for repeatable processes, disaster recovery, and common problem resolution.


• Three or more years’ experience configuring and maintaining key services such as DNS, SFTP, SMTP, and NTP.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
