Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience; Cisco cert valued.
• 10+ years in network engineering, infrastructure design, and circuit troubleshooting.
• DOE Q or TS security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement network systems for LAN, MAN, and WAN environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network issues; perform root-cause analysis.
• Analyze network traffic patterns and plan capacity to support growth.
• Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution and escalation.
• Configure systems to meet operational requirements.
• Evaluate new network technologies for standards compliance.
• Provide oversight across LAN/MAN/WAN operations and security.
• Maintain documentation of configurations and procedures.
• Contribute to policy discussions regarding standards and budgets.
• Test and optimize networking hardware and connectivity components.
