Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Chief Architect (Cisco Network SME) to lead high-level solution design and pre-sales activities for strategic accounts in the US. You will evangelize technology, craft GTM strategies, and collaborate with CAEs to create SOWs and LOEs while engaging with major vendors and customers.

The role requires strong presentation skills, deep technical depth, and a track record of leading design sessions in complex environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of presales solutioning experience (delivery experience a plus).
• Expert level certifications such as CCIE-R/S, CCIE or JNCIE and professional level security certs a plus.
• Experience interacting with highly technical customer/vendor/peer engineers, engineering managers and C-Level staff.
• Experience leading whiteboarding & design sessions.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• SME around discrete technologies (e.g. networks, systems, cloud).
• Proficient presentation and Pre-Sales skills.
• Comfortable with public speaking (conferences, etc.).
• Deep expertise in vendors technologies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to deliver resources and services aligned with company objectives.
• Provide deep subject matter expertise and complete tactical work.
• Provide technical marketing, thought leadership and related support.
• Define and deliver the GTM strategy with design documents and proposals.
• Engage in key accounts and develop credibility for technical solutions.
• Stay current on technical solutions in support of vendors.
• Coordinate with CAE to build SOWs for large projects.
• Create in-depth design documents (SOW, LOE, BOM).
• Provide training internally for new solutions advancement.
• Engage with key vendors and uphold Computacenter's values.
