Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is looking for a Senior Cisco ACI Engineer in Austin, Texas. This role involves designing and implementing Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) solutions while mentoring junior engineers. Responsibilities include integrating ACI with various platforms and managing ACI policies and operations.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience, a strong understanding of network protocols, and excellent problem-solving skills. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in network engineering with at least 5 years focused on Cisco ACI.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and train team members effectively.
• Experience in building ACI environments from design to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Key member in deployment of new Cisco ACI fabrics including spine-leaf topology.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Utilize Nexus Dashboard to monitor ACI health.

Skills

Strong understanding of the TCP/IP stack

Expert-level knowledge of Cisco ACI architecture

Strong understanding of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, MPLS)

Proven experience in mentoring and training technical teams

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
