Job summary

Defense-Aerospace is seeking a Circuit Card Design Engineer in Orlando, FL for a 1-year contract. The position is hybrid in Orlando, with an hourly rate up to $71/hr (W2, non-benefited) and U.S.

citizenship is required. You will capture schematics using Siemens Xpedition, design power distribution circuits, document requirements, and generate full design data packages for reviews, while coordinating across mechanical, software, and test teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum of eight years of professional experience.
• Experience with design assurance processes and system-level requirements capture.

Responsibilities

• Capture schematics and produce EPCAD layouts using Siemens Xpedition Enterprise.
• Develop power distribution circuit card assemblies that meet performance and thermal targets.
• Define, document, and trace system requirements throughout the design lifecycle.
• Generate complete design data packages for Design Assurance review and release.
• Coordinate with mechanical, software, and test teams to align schedules.
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain an inclusive, collaborative environment.
