Job summary

AGBO seeks a Senior Cinematic Layout Artist to bring in-game cinematics to life with strong staging, camera work, and visual storytelling. You will translate narrative beats and previs into polished scenes using Unreal Engine’s Sequencer, working closely with animation, lighting, and narrative teams to ensure every shot serves the story and meets AAA production standards.

You will build and refine sequences, frame cameras for emotional beats, and iterate across multiple review passes to maintain

Qualifications

• Experience with Unreal Engine Sequencer and cinematics in games.
• Portfolio showing cinematic layout and camera work.
• Knowledge of lighting, composition and cinematic language.
• Ability to take direction and iterate with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine cinematic sequences in Unreal Engine Sequencer.
• Translate previs and storyboard direction into in-engine layouts.
• Frame and animate cameras to support storytelling and gameplay.
• Collaborate with animators, lighting artists and designers for cohesive scenes.
• Apply lighting and blocking to elevate visual quality of cinematics.
• Understand Blueprint concepts to support sequence logic.
• Iterate on shots based on director feedback across review passes.
• Maintain consistency in cinematic quality and pacing.
